Welcome to our preschool. We use a theme-based curriculum. We have a different theme each week along with a letter or number.

Snack information
Snack is provide by parents on a rotating basis. On your child’s assigned day they will bring a healthy snack for the entire class. Snacks can be anything that is healthy. We can not serve food or juice with high fructose corn syrup. Fresh fruits and vegetables, crackers, cheese, milk and 100% fruit juice are all good options. When your child has a birthday they may bring a birthday snack.
Field Trips
We go on two or three field trips a year.
1st one is a trip to the fire station for the fours.
The fire fighters come to the preschool for the threes.
2nd one is a trip to a pumpkin patch.
3rd one is to Tanganyika in the spring.
You or another authorized adult are encouraged to go with us because we can not provide transportation.
We teach the children the Lord's Prayer, a monthly bible verse, and a bible story. The bible story is usually told by our Associate Pastor from Woodlawn.
We have a holiday program a year. These programs are held in the evening at Woodlawn UMC Worship Center. The fours will memorize a bible verse and sing some songs. Each of the 4-year-old classrooms will have its own program.
The threes will all come together and sing songs together.
The fours going on to Kindergarten will have a little graduation ceremony in May.
